Aashish Kiphayet is a documentary photographer and audio-visual storyteller based between New York and Washington, D.C. His work focuses on immigration, social justice, and civil rights. He graduated in 2025 with a master's in new media photojournalism from the Corcoran School of the Arts and Design at George Washington University. His work has also appeared in The Times, Bloomberg News, The Guardian, and The Hill. His visual storytelling journey began in 2017 as a television producer for the weekly news talk show “Muktobak,” as well as live broadcasting for Channel 24 based in Dhaka. He is a member of NPPA.
